Editorial standards

Help readers see what is documented, estimated and interpreted.

Source priority

We prioritize official announcements, regulatory records, technical specifications, project documents and reviewable primary material. Reporting and secondary analysis can identify leads but do not replace original support for material claims.

Figures and status

Important figures carry a date, scope and unit. Capacity retains intermediate states such as application, planning, connection and operation; conditional language is not rewritten as a final outcome.

Quotation and interests

Before using an interview or onsite view, we agree its public scope, attribution and context. Editorial and business conversations are identified separately. A commercial relationship does not buy an editorial conclusion.

Commissioned work and sponsorship

Free editorial, commissioned research or business support, and sponsorship have different purposes. We identify who commissioned a piece of work and label sponsored content clearly. Sponsorship cannot buy an editorial conclusion, favorable ranking or inclusion in a shortlist represented as independent.

A supplier may be a sponsor, a prospective business client and a subject of research. Relevant financial relationships must be disclosed. Before commissioned work begins, the parties clarify the paying client, scope, responsible provider and any referral fees, dual payments or conflicting roles.

These boundaries do not establish that a service is already available or that a commercial relationship exists. Availability and delivery capability are confirmed separately.

Corrections

When a material error is found, we recheck the source, update the text and retain a correction record. Non-public material is used only within the agreed scope.
