Vertiv: connecting high-density compute to physical infrastructure

Power, cooling, racks and service responsibilities must be assessed as an installed system.

Supply-chain role: Critical power, thermal infrastructure and related services

Why this company is included: Selected to examine the physical integration boundary between high-density computing and the facility.

Role and reason for selection

Vertiv's portfolio covers critical power, cooling and IT infrastructure with associated services. It is included to examine the handoff between computing equipment and the electrical, thermal and operational systems that support it. Vertiv portfolio

Evidence to examine

In a July 23, 2026 announcement, Vertiv described supplying and installing physical infrastructure for a NVIDIA DGX GB300 system at the Naval Postgraduate School. The account identifies a three-rack configuration combining power protection and distribution, liquid cooling, fluid monitoring and commissioning support. It is a supplier-reported deployment example, not an independent audit of lifetime performance. Named deployment account

Why it matters to readers

Customers can ask what an integrated proposal actually includes. Equipment partners need named owners for the facility-to-IT connection, fluid condition, controls and testing. Project reviewers should separate delivery of a packaged system from acceptance of the customer's intended workload.

Limits and next questions

One installation does not establish suitability for a different climate, rack configuration or destination. Cross-border procurement still requires approved interfaces, local service scope, spares and warranty responsibilities. The cited project does not imply any relationship with BC Technology, or that this site can supply Vertiv equipment or arrange introductions.
